About Us

Seva Hi Parama Dharma“, with this motto Samhita Foundation, started their journey on 19th February 2007. Samhita Foundation is dedicated to providing social and empowering benefits to develop the rural areas of Paschim Bardhaman. We mainly work in the underdeveloped areas of Paschim Bardhaman to empower and encourage people having a better life. The trust is a Non Profitable, Non-Commercial Public and Non-Political, Non-communal Charitable Trust situated in West Bengal.

At that time our organization was renamed “Chinakuri Sri Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Dev Sebasangha”. That day was the 172nd birth anniversary of Sri Sri Thakur Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Dev. The day is celebrated with various religious and cultural events. Since then, free medical camps, Eye Camps and cataract operations have been conducted at various times, in collaboration with the Lions Club. There are more ceremonies organized like Sit & Draw Competition, Go As You Like, etc. to encourage the children. From the year 2007 to the year 2019 there were more than 1,000 patients who had undergone a cataract operation at the Medical Camp. On September 2019, we changed the name of this

organization to the Samhita Foundation, a multi-religious trust. It is a non-profitable, non-commercial public, non-political, non-communal charitable trust.
